I have a Japan PS2, and a U.S. ORIGINAL copy of Burnout 3 with DNAS

I recently moved to Hong Kong and bought a Japanese Playstation 2 that was pre modded to play all regions.

My main reason to buy a pre modded PS2 was so I wouldn't have to re-purchase all my U.S. games that I bought over the years by being able to play U.S. games and HK games on the same console.

Anyway all my U.S. games work fine as do the games I bought in Hong Kong.

One problem is that my U.S. copy of Burnout 3 Takedown won't play online. It gives me a DNAS error when I try to go online stating error code -402.

Based on my research thus far, U.S. originals that use DNAS will give an error code if I play online using a Japanese mod chipped PS2.

So my question is the following:

If I copy my original PS2 copy of Burnout 3 into an ISO and patch it with a DNAS patcher and then burn it, will I be able to play it online with no problem?

I have the Matrix Infinity mod chip

well it unfourtaently looks like none of us know. you could try it and let me know if it works, but if the original dont work online then its a longshot. anyone else know anything about this online stuff,i never really bother.
