I cannot back up Night Shift Nurses Two Rn's Revenge. Shrink wont even analyze it and dvd decryptor will decrypt it but then when I try to open it to burn with dvd shrink or nero they wont get past the analyzing stage. When I try to do a disc copy without any compression with record now dx or roxio they also wont even start to copy and a message comes up telling me that I may need "patch writing software". I don't know if it knows what it's talking about but regardless I NEED HELP. Please someone, how do I back up this dvd?

have you successfully backed up any movies prior to this? If decrypter can read it Shrink should be able to process it. Can you play the movie from your hard drive?

I have backed up hundreds of movies in my dvd collection. Decrypter does decrypt it but when I try to get shrink or nero to burn the files, right before it analyzes it it stops and says problem analyzing. The files do work if I play it on my hard drive. But if I try to back up the movie right from the disc using shrink then also it wont get past the analyzing stage. I'm clueless now about what to do. If someone has had luck backing up this dvd, I'd love to know how. But even if not I'll take any tips as I can get. But I mean it, I have decrypted it and at the end of the decrypt stage it tells me all the files were decryped and none were ignored. If someone would like to try please be my guest and try this dvd and please get back to me. It bugs me that I cant back up this dvd...

Download the trial version of AnyDVD and try useing it with DVD Shrink first. If that doesn't work try dvdd with AnyDVD running in the background and then shrink. Here's the link. http://www.slysoft.com/en/

ok so I got any dvd and clone dvd. I tried anydvd with shrink but even still just like before, shrink could not get past the analyzing stage. But then I tried anydvd with clonedvd and right when it was done reading it clonedvd said there was a problem with the sectors. So I went ahead anyways and clicked next, next, "do you want to keep titles and menus" yes and next. Then when I hit "go" it said it still could not continue. "Please send bugs report to elby to help us make a better product". Just to let you the reader/dvdbackupper know, out of all the hundreds of dvds I've got and backed-up, I have not been able to back-up;
"Learn To PLay The Piano"
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles number one the movie" (both sides -widescreen and the flipside standard version) and not to mention
"Night Shift Nurses TWO RN's Revenge"
All of these three have been giving me the same problems and are as I say it UNBACK-UPABLE. Go ahead and try yourself if you like or if you just have any tips..., by now I'll try anything. :(

Have you successfully backed up any other titles since these problems first occurred?

try putting AnyDVD into safe mode (don't put windows into safe mode). This is done in the settings

Is your little fox red on your taskbar? That means AnyDVD is activated. if its activated it should give you no problems like this.

Do you have any intervideo products installed? sometimes they can conflict with AnyDVD i hear...

To laddyboy,
Yeah I am still able to backup. I just got chappelle's show season 2 and Buffalo Soldiers and both chappelle show dvds and Buffalo Soldiers disc's backed up without a prob.
But to squizzle,
About AnyDVD I got the fox and I think it would be red but then fade when I entered a dvd but I could have it the other way around but also it would say in the task bar that 1 dvd is read when I had a dvd in the drive and say 0 when there wasn't. But like I wrote up top I'll try anything, so I'll try AnyDVD (safe mode) and see what happens and report back if there's something new or not. Thanks so far for both your helps.

if that doesn't work i think it's time to restart from the beginning. I've read the post but i'm still not sure if the problem is at the Shrink grabbing the movie to the hard disc, or from the hard disc thru the burning process. I think you need to start from scratch and describe the various ripping / burning products you have installed. Sounds like a conflict to me, plus i'm having trouble following this post, too much going on
