hi ive just installed windows 98se on my emachine c633cd but cant find an audio driver anywhere can anyone help please

have you tried emachine's website and search for your driver? your problem is probably that you're installing a 7 year old OS (why???), if you were installing XP or something newer it would probably recognize it.

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:

check your recovery cd as you are looking for soundmax intergrated sound card & i think you are in the wrong forum, should be in "other pc hardware forum"

also emachine 633 edition pc's where ment to run windows me and me only so you may have some trouble with software and the computer crashing time for a new computer nobody uses emachine 633's anymore boy are you in the past it will help you better to update your computer to windows xp because microsoft is realeaseing a new version of internet explorer that will make using windows 98se obsilete

i'm using win98se on a p4-2.4 celeron d with no problems & with internet explorer 6 & updates
