Hey guys, I was hopin you could help me. I know a considerable amount about burning DVDs, but I was wondering if you could tell me what Booktype Bitsetting is, what it does, and if it makes DVD+Rs work any differently. Thanks a lot.

What it does is make +Rs look like dvd-roms. Some older dvd players, PS2s have trouble playing +R media, book typing them makes them more compatible for more players. There really is no other difference. I book type all my burns, all my players play +R media, but it doesn't hurt to book type anyway
