i have a toshiba sd4700 standalone that does not play my backup. i tried booktype setting to dvd-rom for a verbatim mcc004 and also a ritek dvd-r, both using decrypter. on my comp both work perfectly, on the standalone the columbia logo complete with the sound effects is all i get, and a blank screen afterwards. using an lt gsa 4163. any advice please?

hmmm... where did you get the dvd from?

is it NTSC, PAL ? how did you back it up?

is it from a proper DVD or a divx/Xvid you dl'd?
