Hey guys I have just burnt a DVD using Nero .... I added the Audio/Video_TS folders and then burnt the DVD, and it went fine ..
Now when I try and watch the DVD in my standalone DVD player, I get an error message saying "DVD-R no supported files" ...
Then I took the DVD and put it back into my DVD drive, and all the folders and files are there as they should be ... I tried to open the DVD using PowerDVD and it gives me an error message too ...
Can anyone help me at all, as this isn't the first time this has happened ...
Thanks,
Jay

it'll probably work if you just burn the files in the VIDEO_TS folder, without the folders.

Convert PAL to NTSC or NTSC to PAL------>http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/167922

I think squizzle's right here.........

From what you wrote would I be correct when I say that currently in your dvd you have the following:

AUDIO_TS folder - no files within
VIDEO_TS folder - no files within
Then files that are VOB/IFO/BUP extensions

If so, when you use Nero, drag ALL of your VOB/IFO/BUP files into the VIDEO_TS folder.

Then you will just burn the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS (which contain the relevant files) folders.

The AUDIO_TS folder is not normally required (usually empty), but has been proven to aid compatibility in older players.

I think Nero automatically adds these folders to the dvd video compilation (red folders I think), just drag your dvd files as above into the VIDEO_TS folder and burn as normal, making sure you finalise the disc aswell (in settings).

BTW:The folder name (VIDEO_TS) does require to be in upper case aswell.

Hey I knew that ... That is where I first had the problem, Squizzle just said to burn the files in the VIDEO_TS Folder without any folders ... I was just wondering how you burn the files w/o burning any folders, and which program to use ...
Thanks,
Jay

Just one folder (VIDEO_TS), with the files inside.......

Nero gives you both folders, just drag you files into the VIDEO_TS folder and burn as normal
