MD track mark in sonic Stage 2.2?

I use sonicstage version 2.2 (module 2.2.00.09020)to record my MDs. I was wondering if there is a function, or an option in the program to use the track mark to separate songs. Like an older version had...don't remember the number of the version. Since If I use the funtion in the MD recorder it says the song is protected. What can I do to separate the song with track mark or a function like that? Is there a way to deprotected the song in the MD so I can use the track mark in the MD recorder?
