i need a burning cd program that really equaliza sound and can also edit a song,,let's say if the song last 5 minutes i can edit and record only 3 minutes of it........thanks in advance

well Nero has a wave editor built in that should do all of that, or you could get a free audio editor like Krystal or Audacity to trim, edit, and normalize your audio files, then burn them to CD with whatever program you currently use.

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:

I'm not sure why the cd program has to do your equalization. I would just use Soundforge to do your audio adjustments and then burn the cd with whatever you use. Just a thought.

In my recording studio there is no way that I would rely on Nero for equalization.

I wouldn't rely on sound forge either if you have a studio, use Pro Tools.
