ok i got a 100mbps conection and limewire pro my avarge download rate is 9min for 1 song and with bearshare lite 57sec isn't limewire pro better?

yea limewires prob the best in my opinion justmake sure how many people your downloading from the more people the fasterit is also if ya downloading mp3's make sure ya have a look at the bitrate to determine the mp3 qaulity for example 92kbps is quite poor and 192 kbps is good if u want cd quality look for 256-320 kbps but the most important thing for speed issues is make sure your downloading off of some 1 with a fast connection e.g cable or T1 as their upload speed will be quicker so downloading will be quicker

i had speeds of 70 to 120kbps then i stumbled on this site http://www.speedguide.net/analyzer.php?DATA_OFFSET=40&TCP_Options...

Did some tweeking and with optimal settings now get 190 average up to 1.2 megs on bursting;

My max is around 250KB/s on LimeWire PRO.

134kb/s on Azureus MAX
125kb/s on LWP MAX

(on my 1.1 meg line)

250 KB/s On LimeWire PRO MAX
250 KB/s On uTorrent MAX

(On my 2.2 meg line)

Yeah there should be a way to focus 100% of your bandwidth on it. Also, make sure you don't get a NAT error.

Remember that you're speed can only go as fast as your line can.

Eg: 512kbps - 60KB/s max.
1.1mbps - 120KB/s max.
2.2mbps - 240/250KB/s max.
