Hi, Folks:
Recently, because my hard disk failed and was replaced I lost one of the three items of software that I was using to make writable backup DVDs. Now, I have re-installed DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink, but I lack that third item whose name I cannot precisely recall. I believe that the name begins with the letter "I" and has some numerals such as "91." I would recognize the name if I saw. Alas, that software does not appear to be available now. I call this software "imaging software" because it used the output of DVD Shrink to set up the files that DVD Decrypter used to write the DVD.

Will someone help me with the information?

Thanks,

fourls

Am not sure what you are looking for, DVDDecrypter rips your movie and DVDShrink encodes it to an iso image file onto your hardrive and then you can burn with either Nero or Decrypter. There really is no other program that is needed to make your DVD unless you prefer another burning software.

Before DVD Shrink was able to write ISO files some people used a program called ImgTool with another program called AutoShrink ISO to call it automatically from Shrink. Since DVD Shrink has been able to write ISOs for a long time these programs are no longer necessary. In fact I'm reasonable sure that Shrink uses the same ISO writing code that IMGTool does so there shouldn't be any advantage to doing it this way.
