Hi all I have been trying to backup my DVD copy of Castaways I have tryed DVD Shrink, Clone DVD, DVD Decrypter, DVD95Copy to meansion a few. Thay all do what they are suppose to do and the picture quality is great but NO sound. When I use the DVD Decrypter along with DVD Shrink when I have loaded the Decrypted files the Audio 5.1 is not their at all. Hence NO sound. I have been trying to do a direct Clone onto two 4.7 DVD's but the same thing. Anyone tell me why this is happening. The DVD itseelf works fine so I know is not damaged in anyway. I have backed up all my DVD's this is the last one with know problems so I dont think it's something I'm doing wrong.

Thanks in Advance

What Movie?
What player?
Describe your sound system.

Sounds like your backup is defaulting your player to dts and you're not set up for dts soundtracks. Use your remote or the movie's setup menu to choose dolby instead.

Don't think I explained this too well I have not made a backup to disk yet I used DVD Decrypter and hen I loaded it into DVD Shrink and then went to backup the main movie only there is NO audio at all. So for some unknwn reason when it's being ripped it's not doing the Audio. I tried a full backup using as stated Clone DVD and also DVD95Copy and saved them to my HD neither had any sound at all. All the rest that I have done play great.

Is the movie you're trying to copy an original or a copied disc? It sounds like the one you're trying to copy has no audio unless I misunderstood what you wrote in your first post. You should only uncheck the boxes corresponding to the files you DON'T want when using DVD Shrink.

hi, maybe you can have a try on WinAVI DVD Copy which is very steady and very easy to use! Why not get one from http://www.winavi.com/en/dvd-copy/dvd-copy.htm to have a try!

OK, so after you rip with Decrypter, if you watch it from your HDD do you have sound?
