All of a sudden I cannot connect to my Limewire. From my reading on the Limewire forum I am assuming it is because Cox Communications is blocking them. Previous to this problem I did not even know they could do this. Some people have found ways to get around this using a proxy and such, but I am not familiar with how to do this. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Or maybe another p2p to go with? I have EDonkey as well, and can still connect to it, but I don't really care for this program much.
It still doesn't work...
Could someone tell me how to set up Limewire through a proxy? And what (if anything) I need to change on my firewall settings for it? I know this worked for other people, so I figure it's worth a try.
