Troubles with burning +RW

I have a Verbatim Dvd+RW burner and have made backups of 3 movies so far. I tried to make a new backup using Memorex Dvd+RW and the burning sequence using Nero would not stop. It reach 150% so I canceled the process. I have used Memorex before with no problems. Now when I put the disk into the drive it will not read the disk being there. So now I can't erase it or burn it. Should I just toss this disk in the trash or is there away to fix the problem. Any help is appreciated.
