I know sound forge pretty well, how do people rip a CD and tweak the sound to liking using normalize, can you use the EQ to improve sound how?

Not very well...I have Sound Forge and don't have a clue. I mainly use Mixmeister pro, and I could use some sound tweeks if any body knows, Holla
