Hi Guys, i can successfully convert avi files to vob files using vso divx to dvd but the problem is that the video quality is blocky as hell, is there any way of uncompressing the avi file to regain the quality of the file. (in case you were wondering the avi file at full screen is also blurry and blocky).
Thanks.

it looks like if the original file is really crap then you will need to find another source file, one that hasnt got the flaws in it.Then when you convert it , it should be fine

Did someone say PORN ? hehehehe

I converted dozens of DivX files using VSO DivXtoDVD and I was amazed how nice the end results was. Personally, I think the quality is quite good, I guess the DivX files were done properly :)

yeah they are nice arent they but i have noticed that the files have to be top notch or else if the files arent the best no matter how you convert them the end result is still the same = crap

i found divx ok on my 21" tv, but when i bought a 32" widescreen i could really see the difference.

also i love DTS and 5.1 - something divx cant really do as well as DVDs

but you still need the 5.1 audio on the divx, and back in the day when i used to collect divx almost all were just stereo.

ok, so i have a sweet home conema and my sony AV amp does a great job at turning stereo to pro logic 2, but still nothing compared to the likes of the 6.1 DTS on blade trinity :)
