Ok, I am thinking of getting a new computer because I am having a hard time trying to flash my pioneer dvr-108 since it is an OEM from Sony.Does anyone know which computer brands are best that do not give you a hassle when you want to flash a DVR drive?
I ask this because I know that Sony has a block and does not support third party updates on their OEM Drives so does anybody know which brands don't do this or does every brand with OEM do this? Please let me know as this is very important in my decision. If I buy a new DVR of a different brand and install it on my same computer and uninstall my OEM pioneer will it let me flash it without any problems since it is not OEM?
