Please help me. I tried to defrag my HD but it is really whacked out. When I access the program screen it appears nearly blank (where the four button options are supposed to be there is just a blank square with no writing on it). If I right click I get a vertical series of gray colored bars and it locks up everytime. I have to shut it down with taskmaster to get close it. Please tell me what to do. This thing is in diar need of some HD cleaning attention.

this didnt work. i tried everything to the letter. still no luck. i get a blank option page in disk fragmenter and everytime i log on to the computer i get this error C\windows\system32\netdc.exe (windows can not find this) I have no idea what it even means.

it appears to be or remains of a trojan virus. do you know how to use regedit? run your antivirus program plus do an online scan with this link http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp
