I'm tired of everyone sayin you have to have a mod chip or swap magic to play burned games, it just isn't true. All you have to do is tape or glue a small switch inside the ps2, it's right by the modem and then theres another switch right behind the power button, you have to tape or glue your choice, once you have these switches pressed all you have to do is put an original ps disk in and switcher out when the ps logo comes up and your in ps gamin heaven

Yeah, I have heard of this mod, it's the same thing as the ghost switch (one piece is a cap which goes over a sensor and another piece which goes in the hole above the reset button). The only thing is I use swap magic, and I don't feel comfortable using tape or glue.
Take a look at Greatness...
V1 PS2, Fliptop, 200gb HD and HD Advance v2.0
V12 PSTwo, Ghost Switch, SMD v3.3 and v3.6
Plextor PX-716UF DVD Burner, DVD Decryptor
Verbatim 4x DVD-R, TDK 8x DVD-R

ok.. you download the games from a bit torrent program, right? then u burn the game. i think i am having so much trouble convincing you that you dont need a mod chip or swap magic because the origional creators have hammered it into people that it is not possible no matter what.

i'm not sure about this method working working on the fat ps2. there IS a method but its called the swap trick, or something like that. do a search on http://www.google.com for playing backup discs on ps2.
as for the cd clone, i dont know. Nero has always been my burning program of choice.
