Hey evryone. This is my first post so please go easy on me. I have been reading threads on this site for 2 weeks and im am still looking at pthetic download speeds. I have Rogers internet, the one with 128KB connection. I have bypassed the router, have firewall running and have told Norton Antivirus 2005 that bitlord is not an internet worm. Even with all this done, a file with 25-40 seeds i still see only an average of 16KB/s. I have tried adjusting the global upload rate looking for that sweet spot. No dice. Please help out a newbie. Thanks in advance.

128 * 0.125 = 16 (conversion bytes to bits)

16k is all your gonna get on that connection, sorry dude.

Your welcome, check and see what other connections are available to you.

These are approximate DL speeds...Due to system overhead tho you will rarely see 100% capacity.

128 = 16
256 = 32
512 = 64
(1Mb)1024 = 128
(2Mb)2048 = 256
(4Mb)4096 = 512
