I was playing my backup of this game and everytime I beat "Z"(the second to last character in vs. mode) the game freezes when the screen is black. Any suggestions? I didn't think I needed a patch.

I think you need better media! What media you use? I would reccomend getting Verbatim DVD-Rs or MAXELL DVD-Rs!

I ordered Taiyo Yuden from supermediastore.com
I thought these were the best?
They're not fakes either
Also had problems with San Andreas
No problems with Star Wars III or Fight Night RD 2. (Beat both games all the way through)

they are very good media, if they are real

there are alot of fakes about, just because it came from a reputable shop doesnt mean there the real deal

run them through dvd identifier to get the codes for the dvd

thanks for the advise jpp01uk. couple q's though
1. Where can I check the DVD codes to see if they are real?
2. If, they are fake is there any chance supermediastore.com will refund my money?

I just made 4 coasters for Tekken 5. Using SM 3.6 the game loads for about 10 seconds, flashes nameco, then goes to my browser screen. The more backups I try to make the more I think they may be fake.

last question
3. The TY's are 4x. When I use DVD Decryptor or Nero I always change the write speed to 1x, but it never writes 1x it always writes 4x. Is there anything I can do to change this?
