Far cry crashing after loading

i know this is a games post but there isnt a pc gaming section so i put it here.
i have a radeon 9550 and far cry crashes to desktop after loading, i have the latest patches and video drivers.

Just wondering, does the BiAtch have a log file that may throw out some hints on the issue in it's installation directories??

Did you check Event Viewer Application logs??

Try changing video resolution and retry.

Dependant on the patch you have installed for the game, that could be a problem.

I would un-install the game, re-install it, try to run it, before you patch. Then see what happens. Add a patch at a time.

I know you have the latest drivers, but, I am assuming that you have ATi drivers, you may have to experiment with different ones. Far Cry is a picky game.

Try what I have said & let us know how you get on.

nothing shows in event viewer,
i cleared the temp files and its workin at the mo so its all gd
