i have tried to burn this dvd severeal times in many different programs and it wont read my dvd, the empty one, is there any reason why it wont read the empty disc and it wont let me burn on to it

Sometimes burners have a hard time detecting low end media. I stick with Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim

WOW!!! im an idiot, my dvds are almost the same colour on each side, with no label and i had it in upside down, i hate myself for that, i feel liek the biggest idiot in the world
