i downloaded a movie, and converted it to a vob file, the file works on my computer so i burnt it to a dvd. i play the dvd back on my computer and it works, when i try it in my dvd player(pioneer) the image is black and white and it is rapidly scrolling down the tv, im wondering if the problem is, maybe my dvd palyer does not play burnt dvds properly or if i have dont something wrong when burning it, i had the mpeg file, and i converted that to the vob, i burnt it with nero, can anybody help me or suggest anything else that will work??? please help

what program did you use to convert the files. just 4 knowledge.
did you just copy the folder with the vob files or did you burn an iso.
if not try dvd shrink to create the iso image then burn with nero

i got the video from a torrent, i got the cue file and converted it to an mpeg file, after this i converted it to a vob file, i made the iso file using nero, i also trie an nrg file, i received no errors when making these files or burning the disc, i burnt the dvd with nero as well
the disc works great when i play it in my pc, when i bring it to my dvd palyer the image scans vertically down the screen rapidly, in black and white, the dvd menu also scans with the picture, this part is somewhat weird, im wondering if the dvd player detects the burnt dvd? or if the dvd is just messed up however it works in my pc drive
