Hi,

I've been burning for a few months now using Nero and DVD decrypter with good results but I've got a niggly problem when burning DVDs which do not require any compression.

Say I burn a DVD of size 3GB, the underside of the disc has 2 different shades, the part with the info on and the "unused" part. Is there any way to set it so that this unused area is also burned so that the underside of the disc is all the same shade?

I hope that mnakes sense to someone!

Cheers.

I think the two shades are very autistic robby. So do my friends. What about the rest of you guys ... what do you think?

What does niggly mean?

the only thing I don't understand is why the different shades bother you. But if they do bother you, then the answer to your dilemma is never burn a dvd with less than 4.5g.

Whisperer: you got my curiousity aroused:

niggly Adj. Peevish, bad tempered.

Dictionary said it was slang or colloquial language found in UK.

Whew, thanks LABOY, I thought it was a plantation word.

You're advice above was much better than my post ... that's what we need more of around here! Good answers to good questions.

Well, not the best advice if I have to burn DVD less than 4.5GB :-)

I just want my discs to look as professional as possible, different shades on ther underside says "amateur" to me as professional DVDs do not have the difference.
