ps2 game in rar files

Hi everyone, Im somewhat new to this forum, ive had a mod chipped ps2 for 3 days now but ive been researching it for months, This forum has also been the biggest help and I love it to death :X.
I read the forum rules and im pretty sure im allowed to talk about this(if not you can slap me with a fish.) I have been trying to download iso's at torrent spy, and im about 100mb away from finishing one, but when i look at it, all the files are in .rar. Is this a problem, do I need to convert to iso or can i just start writing, I'm not a fan of coasters so please help me soon, and good luck for all you GoW rebuilders.

You download a program called Winrar. Open the Ps2 game file it provided for you on the desktop. Extract ONE(doesnt matter which one, it just has to have an r0 in it) Extract it into a folder, and you will have the iso in the folder. Burn the iso to the dvd.

I have WinRAR, and i haven't done this yet, but doesn't that mean that you only need to download one folder, becase i think the folders are 144mb each so i don't see how it will be there, but when the torrent is done ill check it out

dont download a folder..download 1 file that is in the folder with a r0 in it

Open the .000 or .001 file with WinRAR,
(assuming there is no .rar file)
Your .iso should extract from the 'split' folders.
You should get one .iso file.
If you backed up your OWN games YOURSELF,
You wouldnt be having this problem.

jizmak im kind of confused, let me get this strait(omg im not sure how to spell strait, i think ive gone retarded...) okay, i have about 29 files that all end in rar such as Devil May Cry 3.part01.rar so what i do is find a file inside one of those 29 files that have an 001 and 002, and put them together to make an iso file? I think i have this completely wrong :(. please clear my brain cell scarce mind

Ok you dont seem to understand.
First double click on any of the rar files(use the first one) then it will take you to the WinRAR program, then you should see an ISO file and some other one or two files click on the ISO and then click the extract button on top of the window, select a destination for the ISO(make sure you have enough space in your HD(if not the ISO would not be complete) make sure you have about 8Gb free space in your HD. Then open DVD Decrypter click MODE>ISO>WRITE and then select the image and Click Decrypt. Make sure you have decent media like Verbatim or MAXELL. And that should be it.

Open the .001 file with winrar
(You only need to open one file)
And extract the .iso image.
It will form one .iso image.
Use dvd decrypter to burn the .iso image.

and where did u get that? cuz i'm dieing to get it but i can't be bothered waiting for it to be shipped to me.

When I'm extracting .RARs I usually just highlight them all right-click and choose Extract to same archive.
