I recently updated my firmware and also ran the RPC utility for my drive because just recently I was unable to view DVDs that weren't Region 1. I disabled the region setting within the utility and now my drive won't read any media at all. I tried the enable button with no errors, but if I try to set the region back to '1' it gives me the error "Medium Not Present". After I enabled using the utility I went into Windows properties and tried to set the region there but receive the error "Unable to update region setting. Please make sure the drive contains a region 1 media and you have administration privilege". I am the admin and I do have R1 media in the drive when performing these tasks. Can anyone offer any help or suggestions please? Thanks!
