ive never had it happen to me yet mate bittorrent is very reliable regarding viruses spyware and adware.

There is a very small chance if your using a public site you may get the wrong thing but even then its rare.

Theres a nice forum post for tons of private trackers, guaranteed quality and great speeds.

That happens a lot on those kind of P2P Networks.. never ever had a problem with BT.
I reccomend you get a good client like BitLord.

i went ahead and tried getting something, it was off 2torrents, and its going through bitload, any settings on the download or preferences i should keep in mind?(i think i allowed info on other end: or something along those lines) i also have my normal xp firewall on, i read something about port forwarding, but not sure what thats all about. (is it needed)

my kB/s Dn is hitting around 25 30, and my kB/s Up is hittin like 35 40. (any way i can get better speeds)

also, its saving as IMAGE whatver .avi.bc!

why is the .bc! there, will that change...

Thanks Mik3h

Hey bobright, it looks like you have a dsl connection, like I do, and you are probably choking ur download speed. When uploading, if you use your 100% upload speed, that basically closes your download speed. If you have dsl, try making your upload max (for all torrents) be 25KB/s. It is the best way to get the best of your dsl.

This goes for everyone! Only upload at about 70% of your max speed, or else you downloading will be going VERY SLOW.
