i have just received a ps2 game file from a friend and it contains only a ppf file can some 1 plz tell me what to do with it

ppf = playstation patch file

you need the ppf-o-matic to use it.

basically it is used to remove checks etc from ps2/psx disks to let them be played on chipped machines (or using swapmagic etc)

so what do i do i only have a ppf file and nothing else the ppf file is about 700mb big can i use it to play the game?

you run this first then swap your discs and they will play

im amazed it is 700 megs tho... they usually are about 4/5 meg!

you need an ISO of the right game - then run the ppf file on it to get a cracked ISO - then write the ISO.

ok thnx io patched the game one more question i have mvp baseball 2005 iso i burn it and it wont run with swap magic i burned a x1 any suggestion why it wont work the iso was about 4gb

mvp baseball needs no special burning procedures,
you have a bad burn,try burning it again at different speeds,or on different media
ppf files are pathes that are applied to the iso,just to clear that up
