I hav a machine that runs perfectly on windows xp profesional service pack 2. Then i discovered emule :)
i hav downloaded 75 files or 20 gigs of movie files and i cant view any of them !!!!
These files are in (.part) and (.part.met)
i hav read emule faq...and installed vlc media player but still nothing
I cannot play any of those video file on my computer....
I have even tried opening the files in other players,
like Divx player.....
then i tried windows Media Player
media player classic
divx player
quick time player
.......................nothing works
as instructed in emule faq ....I hav installed this codec ( libaccess partfile pluggin .dll ) ...as plugin in vlc ...
in some files vlc doesnt open at all....
in other files..there is no pic or sound but the slide bar progresses from one end to another very fast
in other files i get the first few seconds of play in VLC and it freezes..
its been this way since day one , I am really worried about this can someone tell me the reason why it is crashing like this? Please anyone???
I need to view these movies and burn them as vcd cause these 20 gigs are hogging all my hard drive..
According to avicodec software .......these files?s codecs are
Xvid mpeg4
Divx v5
Open divx v4
Mpeg 1 vcd
Rar file
===============================
According to gspot software ,,,,,,there are files here that are
File truncated
Invalid avi file due to coruption of data in header..........prosessing chunk riff: avi found bad length value 731848194at file offset 0x00002804
Not a valid avi file
An invalid chunk has been encountered in the list containing the A/V frame data. Though not as serious as a corrupt header, it may still be serious enough to prevent the file from rendering correctly.
Details: While processing chunk /RIFF:AVI /LIST:movi, found bad length value 3225429685 at file offset 0x0005a004
Once i did rendering thru gspot...i got this message
DirectShow claims to be able to play the file. The following combination of filters were used:
Still it wont play
{C:\Program Files\emule\Temp\023.part} (Source)
{Avi Splitter} (Splitter)
{ffdshow MPEG-4 Video Decoder} (Video Decoder)
{Video Renderer} (Video Renderer)
{MPEG Layer-3 Decoder} (Audio Decoder)
{Default DirectSound Device} (Audio Renderer)
Helppppppppp
