I have a Phillips DVD 8631 in a XP x64 PC. There is an update out for it, GD30 A04, and I want to check to see if I need it. How do I determine the firmware rev of my drive?

Click on Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager, DVD/CD-Rom Drives, double click on your burner, click on the tab Details
