i have now backed up 10-12 games (WITH NO PATCHES USED) and with no errors but when i try to back up midnight club 3 it will load up the video and play it, however when it is finished it wont come to the main menu.

will i need a patch for it and if so where will i get it from.???

thanks

ps. i burned at 2x and used ridisc -dvdr like every other backup i have done.

MC3 requires really good media. I wasn't able to get it to work myself till I used quality Taiyo Yudens

yep had same probs with mc3 videos where very choppy and there where long loads using poor media but with good media and the Right burn speed it should be sweet its just 1 of those annoying things with backing up games some are just right bastards to get to work and you have to waste like 2-3 dvds to find the best way one question i would like to know if any 1 has rebuilt this game b4 burning and had success or better success or maybe even worse?

Theoretically you could rip from a copied game, but for some reason everyone is against it. It is just digital info being copied so it shouldn't really make a difference. Go for it!

I Know everyone says that MEMOREX is crappy media.(I say it too) But my friend backed up mine using MEMOREX DVD+R and it works perfectly. And I tried burning it to a MEMOREX DVD-R and it doesnt even load(im using Swap Magic 3.3). Strange!

Yep well from my personal experience, Memorex DVD-R is frisbee material, but DVD+R is frisbee material, but to a lesser degree. I hope you understand what thta means hehe
