Is there any way to make my PS2 slim with no mods, except the SwapMagic disks, to run PSX backups? Thanks.

Hi Overwhelm yes there is 2 ways (easy) that I know of. 1 is to load an original PS1 game into fliptop(leave open), turn on, carefully watch the TV screen, when U see a wiggly horizontal line run down the screen (screen still black), physically grab hold of the disc & stop it & pull it out(yes while the disc is still spinning), now replace with your copy & I gaurantee it will work. U have 2 be very carefull putting the copied disc in (I find it easiest to push the centre of the disc onto the spindle stopping it, as u put the copy on, if u stopped it for a few seconds u may hurt it. But u wont hurt it if it is stopped 4 a less than a second each time.) Ive had my V12 since September 04 & use this method all the time with no ill effects. The other method is Breaker Pro it is like SwapMagic but it lets PS1 copies work on PS2 V1 - V12

Overwhelm I'm assuming U have slimTool installed on yr PSTwo V12?
As no copies will work on yr PSTwo without it.(PS1 or PS2)
