I use Pop up stoppeer proffesional, works a treat for me, also microsoft antispy ware is not to bad & i belive it's freeware :)

Download Adaware personal edition and Spybot s&d. They both are free. Run Adaware first and delete everything, then run spybot and delete everything.

WOW Quit using microsoft anti spy right now, my friend downloaded it off a disc, which was out of date by about a month, and when he ran it, it deleted major windows files, destorying his computer, unless you keep up to date with microsot anti spy every day, dont get,, and im not just saying that because i hate microsoft!!!

I use the Google* toolbar to block popups, ok it's not the best one out there but most of the time it works great. I agree stay away from MS:AS it's still beta is it not so there's more than likely a lot of bugs left in it.

I use Sunbelt software Counterspy for spyware and FreeSurfer MKII for popup blocking..According to PC World Magazine, Counterspy catches about 95% of spyware follwed by Adware 6. The rest of the programs on the list( I forget all the names) were ineffective catching any spyware. PC Mag had a nice little article on "Best and Worst Spyware Programs" and Counterspy and Adware 6.0 were the best ones to use...........later

from what i've read, you should disable system restore (warning: this will erase your prior restore points), then reboot in safe mode, run your virus scan, spy bot, adaware, and whatever else you have. run the spyware programs atleast three times. then reboot in normal mode and re-enable system restore.
if that doesn't work, just hook your computer up to the bumper of your car with a rope and go for a drive. i think that gets rid of spyware and adware.

ROFLAMO @ Boob. Damn what a way to git rid of spyware. Lol! Wouldnt it be easier to format the hard drive or take it and smah it or kick a few times or my personal fav from the garage work I do....heat it with the trusty torch till its cherry and grab the 20 lb sledge and have at it...lol!:>
