Hi Guy's.
Just picked up a copy of Madagasca only to find it's 6.1gb in size. Tried Alc 120 will not reconise DL discs. Tried DVD Decript will not reconise the original disc. Any clues. Arti

There is no way this is 6 gigs this is a cd rom not a dvd. I'm currently waiting on my copy in the mail should get it tomorrow. For some reason my ps2 stopped reading cdroms. No worries reading through these forums I figured out a way to convert cd rom game to dvd rom game. Works great don't antispate any problems with this one. Dvd decryprtor doesn't recognize it because it is a cd.

Backed up with "Nero Express" using a Maxell cd-r disc for my 6 yr old son - it play/load flawlessly.

@badger2,

I have no idea what you're talking about. It looks like you're trying to open some sort of ps2 zip file (possibly when you downloaded it) from somewhere. Seriously you will need to give more details and better explanation, so other experiences members can try to resolve your issue for you.

However, if you're talking about the legit ps2 game, then it's a piece of cake to back up with either Nero or DVD Decrypter. Simple as that.

(((very basic using DVD Decrypter to back up)))

01) put blank in dvd burner (use good media such as Fuji/TY, Verbatim, Maxell and Sony)
02) put original ps2 game in dvd rom
03) open up DVD Decrypter, make "destination" to your HD, and "source" from your original dvd rom
04) MODE, ISO, READ R, then "DECRYPT" it (now go smoke, get a brew, or wait til it's completed)
05) MODE, ISO, WRITE, make your "source" from your HD (pick the MDS file, and "destination" to your dvd burner[with good quality blank])
06) now go smoke again or wait until it's successfully completed. Presto... that's it, easy as puffing and drinking.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.
