Hey everyone thankx to whoever helps me. Ok First off when I play Splinter Cell Choas Theory I want to play online right. I'm an online gamer. Well anyways the DNAS brings up a error and says I can't get on practically. I was woundring if there was a way to get online with a burnt backup game. If there was some sort of file or somthing I could use to bypass the DNAS or trick it. Anyone who can help me out with this I thank you deeply. So please help me.

what i done with mine was patch the whole game a multiplayer patch which i cant remember where i got than you have to get the dnas code off of the original genuine disc with a program burnt to a cdr called disc id utility or something like that once u have id you than need a patch which is a dnas id insertor link to both these is below

patch your iso image of your game with the dnas and it should work
if ive made any mistakes some 1 will prob correct me and hopefully someone will post your patch if ya lucky also try searching on ere playing game online or patching dnas etc

First off, DUDE, do you use Swap Magic? You can only play backups online if you use SWAP MAGIC.

Hey skidme, Yo listen I read the first guys post and I didn't really understand it, I'm really slow, I have to have detailed instructions. Not that the guy didn't do that but he jsut ummm. Well he wasn't really detailyish about it. And he had some miss spelled words which was kinda hard. But I really aboulsy thank him for what he posted I'm not sure what it is yet becuase i havn't looked but I will look into it. ok now skidme i got a burnt game already of splinter cell chaos theory I used the DVD Dycrpter, Also I used this thing called Image Patcher. Which some one told me patches the DNAS code. So I did it and yeah I burnt my splinter cell game already with out the patch on it. Which I will have to throw out the first copy and then make a new one. Now where the catch is. I"m kinda on hold right now with the Swap Magic. I have been asking ever one, e-mailed a guy that even runs a site with it on it. which is www.ps2laser.com. I emailed him to ask him a question which is I have a Ps2 slim and I have a fat ps2, I was wanting a ps2 slime version of Swap Magic and the version is 3.6 but I was woundring well is there to diffrent versions for the ps2 slim becuase i saw on another website how it said slim line dadda daddy dadda so on and so forth about the slime line version and then it said (SCPH-700XX) which I think thats a ps2 model. I'm not sure but I remeber calling sony and telling them something like that. So now i'm confused on if theres two versions for the ps2 slim. that and if I do get the sawp magic is it easy to use stuff where I could figure it out or would I need help and is it stuff you have to open up your ps2 and put in. I have lots of questions building up and no one to answer them for me. TO me where im on hold at is most of these questions becuase I have $73 dollars and I can buy any Swap Magic I want. I even told my mom to buy me this (version from I think,if it is a version of the Swap Magic) Swap Magic at ps2laser.com. But I wasn't sure and I have questions still about it. And noody to answer them. So skidme. Maybe you can help me out. And if you did I would prolly be the happiest kid on this form. lol So.... PLease will you help me. And like I said to answer your question no i don't have swap magic but when ever i get the info i need and the in my mind i think it's a go all i have to do is give my mom the order. So!! PLease help me. And if you got msn or hotmail. do you think you could give me that becuase I have lots of questions. I need to ask and this forum well i don't know. I jsut need to talk to you like on there or msn. So if you do let me know and I'll add you and you can fill me in becuase i think i might have found sommone who can help. lol Now i'm relay excited. Secondly, you have to have the original Splinter Cell game so that you can get the DNAS ID off of it. Having the DNAS will allow you to play online. Ah sorry I have to go. B back today at around nine to finish this up.

Ok I'm back.
As I was saying, u need the original game to get the DNAS ID off of it, but first about the Swap Mgic...You only need one set of Swap Magic discs(A cd booter and Dvd booter). For the PSTwo you will ned the slimtool to be able to open it without it knowing. For your "fat" PS2 you will need a Slidecard to accomplish the same thing.
I haven't done this proccess in a while so someone plz correct me if I am wrong in any part. You need to download something called DISC ID UTILITY. In the download you wil find a bin and cue file. You need to burn those to CD. You then boot that CD with Swap Magic,and Swap the CD with the game you intend to backup. Press X. You will get some numbers. Jot down the 5 numbers that appear in a series. Those are the numbers you will need to patch the game.
Rip the image to your HDD. Then download a program called WinDIP. You will use that to patch the file. Simply open it. Then click "SELECT IMAGE FILE"...Browse your comp for the file. Click "SCAN FILE". Then click "VERIFY VERSION". Then type in the 5 numbers you wrote down earlier, and click patch. Later if you need to unpatch the image, you have the option of doing that.
Thats it! The file is ready to be burned similarly to how you burn other games. Hope this helps

Hey skidme you there, Well if you are I need to know where I can download the Disc ID Utility. Like I went to ps2tools. I've went to a couplt of sites and I always get to where it says click here get the Dic Id Utility and I do it and then when I go to open it it says what program should open with. It says open with a program found on the net or browse and open it with a program i have. Neither works. The one that finds a progam on the net takes me to microsoft. And the other well I don't know what to pick. I need help. How do I get it to come up and then when I do get it to come up after you help me what do I put it on. DoI put it on a Cd Pr a Dvd?? Everyone in a forum i've read says to do it on a cd. But i'm woundring if they really mean a dvd or what. Help me out I'm stuck you have to take this slow. Tell me where I can get all this stuff and everything. Thankx Man I am really appreciating this. Just keep helping me out your doing a good job. Just be more pesific on to where I can find some stuff I need and how to get it going when I do find it!

You need WinRAR to open the files that you couldn't open before. Just download WinRAR, and then Download Disc ID Utility. Then burn the cue and bin files in it to CD, not DVD

HOw do I use WinRAR?
REally confused on what I do once I open Disc ID Utility from ps2tools.com. It's like files I don't know what I should do. You need to get on msn so we cna back and forth. lol get on if you can alright

Hey skidme, Hey man Your really going to have to get on msn messenger so we cn instant message each other becuase well I tried it again and I found the CUE and BIN files. BUT!! I would have no clue on how to put them on a Cd-R cd with 8o mins. So yeah we'll have to both be on msn so we can go back and forth right there and then. you know. So please get on msn tommrow wihc will be the 27th. And get on at 1:00. And if you can get on hurr and let me know a time you'll be able to get on. Edit:As for the Cue/Bin files, all you have to do is burn them to CDR with a program called Alcohol 120% or Nero

How about 5pm
becuase I stay up all night and I ususally wake up at like 12:00 or 1:00. So 5pm. But I have to have you tlaking to me telling me step by step what to do. becuase with out that man it won't work. Alright I appreciate it!!

I got Nero Smart start. Will that work??
And where can I find Acholo 120% is that don't work??
O and when I download the WINRAR this thing comes up and it says
umm wlel it has all kind of file names or file types and their check and alot of other stuff! What should I do with that

the file types you want checked are .rar and .zip thats the most common ones that files are compressed to
