hi all,im after some help concerning gen files.
i have a rar file containing 001 to 054 gen type files and a sfv file which ive ran and checks out all ok.ive used hjsplit to join the files and end up with a 2.5gb gen file,using winrar ive opened the file and have 54 iso files,but when i try to extract any one or all of them i get a message saying im missing gen-r00,im totaly stuck on what to do next or where to find this gen-r00,anyone shed some light on this for me?
001,002 type extensions are associated with WinRAR and are probably a rar archive
just right click on the first file and select extract here,
if this is not available,select "open with",find WinRAR,and see what you get.
it may give you an iso,which you then drag over to another folder(create and open a new folder on the desktop,so both WinRAR and new folder are visable)
the contents will be extracted to the new folder
