I have an external DVD DL -/+ R/RW drive as well as an internal DVD-ROM on my laptop. I was wondering if, using DVD Decrypter, I could read off the DVD-ROM and at the same time set the destination on a blank dvd in the external burner so I wouldnt have to use my hard drive as a medium for those big files? also will it break the CSS encryption on movie dvds and shrink a full size dvd (7gb or so) so I can put it on just a DVD-R, playable in dvd players? if not are there any programs u would recommend that will do this (with store bought, CSS encrypted DVDs and/or PS2 games)?? thanx alot

No, you have to rip to your hdd first.

Most movies yes. Dvdd quit getting updates a couple weeks ago but you can use AnyDVD to break any encryptions that dvdd won't.
