I found this site researching the pioneer 109 drive I was thinking about purchasing. because of the threads i read in here, i bought it. all i can say is "you guys rock"! i am currently watching a movie i backed up compressed at 51%(dvd shrink and dvd decrypter, thanks yet again!) i honestly don't see a difference. i tried to back it up 3 times on my dvd player (redundancy error after redundancy error), the fourth time i tried it on the pioneer drive (because of comments from a research sl_t in here i tried it on the pioneer drive 1 last time instead of the dvd drive), it worked! furthermore, I am using the tao media, burning at 12x on 8x media and at about about 4485, all i can say is THANK YOU!
