I am geting a new comp, hopfully by the end of the summer. i want a good gaming computer. i don't need the best of the best and no deul stuff. just a good enough computer to play most games.

I want the price to be between $1000-1400 and no higher

Are you buidling it your self (or getting a buddy to build it)? Or are you looking at a system already built (ie HP, Compaq, Sony, Dell)?

If building your self you can get a pretty highend system for $1400 now a days..

I have a buddy building the computer. all custom made. please do not try sell me your computer, i want a new computer built by someone i know and can trust, but thanks for the offer

Flip was just giving you an example of a high end pc he is currently pricing, not trying to sell you a pc, gosh just read the post he's giving you guidence and suggestion's based on his time he spent reading up on parts.

I will have to agree with the above two post's.. Why did you even bother to ask at all, and if your friend is so good and trusted then why the hell didn't he tell you what to get? Maybe he isn't as good as you say? If he builds computers then he will know what is good for you..
