i have a lite-on dvd+-rw SOHW-1633S (and has a version revision beside it BPSA) i have gone to the lite-on website and find a similiar firmware update, but not exact. when i download that update, it says i do not have that hardware. i went to this site

but it says once installed, cannot go back.

and it sends me elsewhere

from this link, there are five choices, but no exact match,
i just want to know if its worth my time to even update this, as i have no current problems with my burner to date. will i risk messing up my burner if i do an update? and why is it my revision is not shown or an option on sites?

i have the same burner, what firmware are you using currently? i have this one...and it's just fine for my own purposes...

that is a direct download for the most recent firmware, yes it's a little old being 12/24/04, but it works fine for me. :)
