i brought 2 games from overseas and cant get to work with swapmagic.
i even copied my own game to test it but it wont load either using
swapmagic. do i need to change videomode?i have tried with no avail. keep getting not ps2 game. any suggestions. used dvd decryptor to make
copy of my game

for a game that is NOT in NTSC and ur unit is NTSC... do this:

insert the swap magic CD.... let it load.. then press EJECT (regular) and insert the swap magic DVD version... let that load... then change video mode to NTSC, and go to load program and hit SQUARE... then at the next insert disc screen... use one of the gadgets (flip top, slide card) and insert ur game... then press X and ur in.

fiapop this seems so simple not sure why im having problems. might
have bad copy of swap magic. so i load cd version and when screen
shows up i hit sguare button to load program then open cd tray
as normal then load dvd version by resetting. do i also hit square
button to load program with swap magic dvd version in unit. ive tried
but it gives me no data on cd message.

is your ps2 PAL or NTSC?

do you have a slide card or fliptop?

are the games dvdr or orginals?

NTSC i have slide card and im trying games i brought from thailand
and a game i copied from orginal. i boot with dvd version of swapmagic
then i select mode theni load program with swapmagic in tray by hitting
square button? then wait for it to say swap disk or what ever? give me step by step so i can try again

nono... u did it wrong... insert CD version of Swap... after it fully loads, PRESS the eject button and insert the DVD version. after it goes back to same screen.. u change mode to NTSC, and hit square to load program... it should take u to the screen of the DVD version (insert disc) when that screen appears... NOW u use ur slide card... remove the dvd and insert ur game... then press X... and ur in

what do you mean by fully load? when it shows (load program) and
(video mode) is that fully loaded? or do i select load program .then
when it goes back to same message (load program) and (video mode).is
it loaded. give me detailed step by step cause im missing something
somewhere. im starting to think maybe my copies are bad. thanks for
all your help

i have a slim version with the magic switch . pressing the eject button dosent do anything . would you explain in detail what you do with the cd swap magic disc then press eject ? then load the dvd disc part

so u insert the CD swap magic... when it loads.. it has load progream and video mode on screen...
now u press EJECT... and inser the DVD swap magic.... and after it is done loading.. it goes back to the same previous screen... except it has something like Refreshed TOC or something new likke that on it...

then u change video mode to NTSC.. and hit SQUARE on load program...

now it takes u to the screen of the DVD swap magic... and when it says INSERT DISC.... u use ur slide card... and exchange ther swap magic disc with ur game....

then press X

are the games NTSC or PAL?cd or dvd?it should say on the label of the disc somewhere in small print.you said they were originals right?.

if they are pal:
1.boot up DVD version of swap magic
2.get to load program screen then select pal
3.eject swap magic then put in the PAL original and push eject button again
4.it will say refresh toc then load program PAL then hit x and the game should boot

if they are NTSC then you would use normal option instead of the PAL option and do the same.

u said it wrong... if it is pal insert the CD version of swap magic... then eject and put in the DVD version... follow my steps above... they are right..
