QUOTE: No. TOXIC patcher is a plugin for modchips that are compatiable with it. It allows the ps2 to read dvd+r dl backups. So basically, its useless to you unless you are going to do a full dvd9 backup of GoW which i do not recommend.

I noticed you don't recommend backup of GOW on DVD9. I burnt it 3 times (including GT4) and used it on 3 different PS2's without an issue so far.
