Actually it's for my friend. He lost his old Mortal Kombat movie and still wanted it so he downloaded it off of Limewire (only because he already had the movie) and wants to burn it to a DVD-R. Here are the problems: The movie is in three parts and we don't know how to combine them, and the parts are Windows Media Player File thingies. What do we do?

I'm da best.

If you have .wmv, you may use VSO DivxToDVD (free program) to convert them into DVD compliant format (just add all three files as 'source' in the desired order), then burn with your favorite burning program (e.g. Nero):

This program is supposed to be able to merge WMV files, after you do that then use Divx2DVD to convert to DVD. I've never used the above mentioned software so I'm unsure of how it performs.

Hi there,

The current Free version of DivXtoDVD currently creates a track for each file.

So if you watch it on your DVD player, when it hits file #2, it will play Track 2, therefore the timer will start at 00:00:00 again.

It will play all of them of course.

When the new DivXtoDVD Pro or commercial comes out, I've heard it might really join all the files and the end result will be just 1 track.

VSO are still in the development of it, so I've heard . So things may change as they go !
