i noticed on movies that are created with CloneDVD2 when played on my XBOX, instead of the movie playing right away I am prompted to change my parental settings. Also i notice on some movies it will select more than one angle, and although i deselect for example 2 of the 3 angles, they end up on my backup, why is this??
for the parental settings, you have to change it and you can set it to play anything. The PS2 is the same way. For the angle issue, I have no idea why that would happen. Do you have more angles if you play it on a standalone player or your PC? Usually DVDs with multiple angles are a real pain to backup with too much compression and all.

Quote: the weird thing is that if i use DVD95Copy, it only takes the one angle, but CloneDVD2 takes all 3.
you think they are aware of this issue?
I don't think this is necessarily a "problem." I mean after all, these are DVD backup programs and if there are 3 angles on the DVD it should try to backup all 3 angles unless told otherwise. I've never used DVD95Copy so I don't know what that one's all about. But I do know that multiple angles do inhibit the compression that can be used.

this is the weird part... if you open the disc in either DVD95Copy or DVDFab Express, there is only themain movie that is selectable, and there are no other angles to even choose from, only CloneDVD2 even gives you the 3 angle selection...
Ya, CloneDVD gives you control that other programs don't i.e. it actually breaks out all the angles and small TS's for your informed choice on what to backup.
I think the XBOX is what is at issue here. At best, it is a makeshift way to play movies. Why not play your movies on a real DVD player?
yeah xbox is weird with movies, some it will play some it won't even though they're on the same discs. At least this is my experiences with xbox. Also, they don't like CD-Rs too much, don't know why.
