Hey guys,
I have burnt a couple games TT Superbikes and Roland Garros 2005, burn process worked find but for some reason my ps2 cant read them.
It starts up on the screen option to read memery or cd, when i click on cd it returns back to same screen.
Console SCPH-50002 - DIAGNOSIS OFF
Browser 1.40
CD Player 2.00
PlayStation Player 1.11 - DISK SPEED STANDARD
- TEXTURE MAPPING STANDARD
DVD Player 3.00A
using Bulkpak 4xR DVD media,
I have no idea why CD-R works fine but DVD -R dont ?

I'd have to agree with 2kwic. I think it's your DVD disks you're using. Bullpak is Bullcrap. Pick up some Verbatims.

I would have to say that before you ditch the media, burn something you can verify with the computer. If your computer cant read it, I would have to agree that the bullpak = bullcrap theory. If not, look into the burning process and see where you might have made a mistake. Sorry if I didn't help, but I tried!:P

Depends on the game, but in most cases, you just need an ISO burning software like DVDecrypter or Alcohol 120% to burn the image (ISO) to a DVD.

Run one of those Bulkpaq disks through this program and let me know the media code. Because Bulkpaq uses their label on lots of different disks, some of which are good, some of which are bad. Some Bulkpaq carry the MCC code which is the same as Verbatims.We cant start blaming the Bulkbaq until we know which DVD's they are.

are you saying your cd backups are ps2?
the reason i ask is some modchips play in ps1 mode and ps2 mode.meaning while in ps1 mode you cant play ps2 games and vice versa.
and it would be a good idea to clean your ps2 lens.i had a ps2 that wouldnt read anything but original ps2 dvd games(no movie dvds,audio cd,backups,etc..).all i did is clean the lens with alcohol and cotton swab and it then read everything.

I have a SLIM LINE PS2 and I'm trying to transfer a save from my PC. Is there a way to burn this to DVD so that it can be copied? I've heard that Slim Lines don't respond to the INdepence Exploit And also... if you can copy a save to your memory card from a Demo Disc why can't you do it with a DVD R?
