How to Use Homebrews on Firmware 1.50

What you will need: Kxploit Tool, a Homebrew app like a game or emulator. download all these at http://psp-hacks.com
1.unzip all the files you downloaded to your desktop.
2.install the Kxploit tool
3.boot it up and in the name section type in any name you like.
4.for the PBP file press "..." box and select where you unziped the homebrew app (probably gonna be the desktop cuase thats where i told you to unzip them)find the folder, open it and select the EBOOT.PBP file.
5.Connect your psp to your pc via usb.
6.in the PSP unit box, select the letter drive the psp is (go to my computer and see the "removeable disc" letter)
7.Click "Generate"
8.Turn your psp on and go to the game section and go to the ms and start the game.
*.If your selected Homebrew app was an emulator, you have a few added steps to perform.
9.once you have done the above steps connect your psp to the pc via usb.
10.go to PSP/GAME/ you should see 2 folders( ex. EMULATORNAME and EMULATORNAME%) open the EMULATORNAME (not the EMULATORNAME%).
11.After opening the folder you should see an EBOOT.PBP file, you can now copy and paste all your game roms in this folder. go to the game section on the memorystick and start the emulator, after that the program will help you select which rom to begin playing.
hope this will cut down on the request for how to do this.

i got working u jus have to press refresh and a drive f appears wow ive been missing out hombrews r great
ds: $150
super mario 64 DS: $40
seeing the look on a nintendo fanboy's face when they see that you have every NES/SNES game known to man on your PSP: priceless
there's more to life than nintendo products, for everything else, there is psp homebrew.LOL i love this its hilarious i got it from insanepsp

ok im realy lost cus im not 2 smart but when i open that program and go 2 press run it says File 'C:\DOCUME~1\George\LOCALS~1\Temp\tnkXfs.dat' does not exist or invaled file size so what do i do?

HI,MY NAME IS ROBERT, AND I AM HAVING SOME TROUBLE DOING THIS GAME ON PSP THING. I EVEN PAID ON A SITE TO DOWNLOAD GAMES AND WAS UNABLE TO DO ANYTHING. PLEASE!!! SOMEONE HELP I DID EVERYTHING ON THIS SITE WITH THE PBP UNPACKER, BUT THEN I GET STUCK ON THE PART THAT I NEED TO RIGHTCLICK DATA PSP AND EXTRACT I DONT SEEM TO HAVE THE DATA PART I ONLY HAVE THE PARAM.SFO AND THE ICON0. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SITES I HAVE TO SAY IT GOT ME THAT FAR AND EVERYONE SEEMS KIND HERE, SO PLEASE HELP ME.

Wait, are you trying to do the MPH Firmware Loader. well if you are. like it says in the readme. If you dont understand this, you shouldn't be even using the program. and you shouldnt have payed for anything, these things are all free. besides, mph firmware launchers is for absolute advanced users, no offence, but noobs like you should sitck with games and emulators.

REALLY SORRY, IT WAS MY MISTAKE. I AM TRYING TO PUT GAMES,THATS ALL I AM TRYING BUT I CANT PUT THE GAMES. CAN U HELP ME PLEASE. OH AND FOR THE THING I SAID I PAID FOR WAS FROM A NOTHER WEBSITE I PAID FOR SOME GAMES IT SAID, OVER 5000 GAMES DOWNLOAD NOW AND I HAD TO PAY. BUT NOW I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS SITE. ALSO I FORGOT TO SAY THAT I HAVE THE 2.60 VERSION BUT SOFAR I HAVE NOT SEEN ANY DOWNGRADE FOR THAT I SAW SOME DOWNGRADES FOR 2.0 ONLY BUT I TRIED IT WOULDNT WORK FOR ME IN THE PHOTO PART THE PHOTO OR DATA WAS INVALID OR SOMETHING.

Firstly, stop using CAPS.
Secondly, Read the Forums !!! You can't downgrade 2.6 and you can't play ISO's or downloaded games on a psp with 2.6 !!!
On a 2.6 you can only play games from an original UMD !!!!!

Yo i don wana continue this man. it was just on caps at the time thass all. ne way if ne one can help me let me know i just changed my psp since my 30 days wernt up so i wana no if i can du ne thing with it. it is version 2.1 and i tot it wud be 1.5 but it wasnt, and i read sum wer that der is tetris for the 2.1 version, if its true tetris is my favorite game can ne one help me get it and let me no if i can do ne thing with this 2.1 crap.

yo i just found this thing 2.01 downgrade it tricks the psp into thinking its 2.0 using 2.5 then u can downgrade to 1.5. yo i did it but the sob lied who ever it was. now ma psp is 2.5 and i see the 1.5 update but the picture that is TIF.File is corrupt and i cant run it. I read sumwer its sapose to come up as sum writing or sumthing wen u click on it. yo in other wrdz the sob lied. now i really am screwed.

I followed the guide step for step but I cant play the roms it says error 8000...etc. Is it the roms or what have I done wrong? thanks

I know the roms are good I can play them on my pc. I've tried downloading different emulators but I keep getting 2 corrupt data files. Some one please help.

Helo? I have out a genesis emulator onto my PSP. No, when I go to the folder, and drag in games, it says on my PSP the file is corrupted, do need a special format to put the ROMS on my PSP? What format should it be?

im having the same trouble i can put the files on the memorystick but when i try to open the files on the psp it shows as corrupted and i cant open th emulator

Which firmware do you have?
You need firmware 1.5 to run homebrew directly from the GAME menu.
If you do have firmware 1.5. Try backing up your data and then formatting your memory stick.
