Problem with DVD43 Free or I Copy 2

I am trying to backup my "24" collection using DVD43 Free and ICopy 2. It gets to about 47 percent then comes up with a read error. I have tried it on several burners. Is there something I am doing wrong?

I personally used anydvd and shrink to reauthor dvds (I put 3 episodes on a disk opposed to the 4 it comes with). With no problems. It could be the disk itself. I would try a different disk. But like I said anydvd & dvdshrink should do the job. Good Luck. WWJBD?

 ... If you keep getting read errors near the 50% area on a DL disc, it is most likely a layer break problem ... A set top DVD player will buzz right over the layer break, but if it's not just right a computer burner will have trouble reading past it and usually stalls ...

Try other combinations: e.g. DVD43+Nero.
