fbi along with 10 other countryies coordinated a massive attack against pirates. The feds ran ftp servers for the groups, giving them basically unlimited storage space dating back to like 2003.

is that why rls grps are quitting left and right? VideoCD just called it quits what not 2 wks ago. Grps are quitting / retiring before the Feds make another sweeping bust. Getting out whilst they still can.

Operation Site Down was more than just a deterent , the Feds went right for the head of the piracy 'snake'. you cut off the head, the rest of the body withers and dies at least thats the Feds mentality.

Dont believe that this bust knocked the rls scene on its ass? Look at the number of rlses as of late, VCDQ , NFORCE have been virtually dead slow. Nothing to index nothing to report save the here and there DVDRs, some crap Cams. and even those are few and far in between as of late

this has had a major effect on releases, there has been a big slow down in scene releases a lot of well established groups have been busted or have left the scene and it will take a long time to recover if it ever does
