Where do they fail?

I did it with Decrypter and Shrink no problems..

Try cleaning the disk or getting another copy or just rip the Main movie and IFO's in Decrypter that could work..

cheers

I returned the movie for a new one and problem solved. Must have been a bad pressing, I guess? It came up with a CRC error at 33% of the way through VOB 3. Anyhow, thanks for the responses fellas.

It was no problem I am glad to share the wealth. Some people just get so set in doing things one way and don't try anything else (hard headed) and swear there way is best no matter what (I used to be like that) LOL It's nice to see you are open minded there arent many here that are. Now I try everything and as of right now IMO DVDC3 seems to work best, but I may come across something better and when I do I will let everyone know :-)

Cheers

ok..... here's something........ I had a problem with OPEN RANGE ...... every time I backed it up it would work on my computer but not my standalone! I tried 6 times with 4 different programs! all did the same thing....... TODAY i TRIED AGAIN! This has been going on for about 2 yrs now! Why can I back up everything else except OPEN RANGE???? I have no idea why it works only on my computer!!!! Soooooo I desided to use DVDDecrypter, DVDRemake, DVDRebuilder, and then CopytoDVD burning it at 4X! I also set my booktype to DVD-ROM. I don't know if it was the combination of programs or the booktype setting that worked, it was a complete success! now it even works on my standalone and I didn't even try hard like all the other times before! If one program doesn't do it then the other ones will! I have so many programs now it's not funny. I also made sure to use TY disk too! soooooooo either the programs, the booktype setting or the right disk made all the difference ........ AND I OWE IT ALL TO AD AND THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE HERE THAT SHARE! THANKS EVERYONE!

Thanks for all your help, i will get more memory soon. but i got hind and seek to backup, i just backup the main movie. and one more thing i pick up the fugitive and made a copy of it with no problem, with all the extra. its just my hind and seek that won't let me copy the behind the senes extra's. so i was never out of memory, first time in 2 years a movie did that to me. thank you all. ODB.

just one question for you ODB....how long does it take to back up a movie? with just 128MB of mem? must be hours! even my old computer had more than that and it took me hours with a one click proggie...... I'm just curious!

Please double check your actually amount of memory. Something is wrong, here. If you are truly burning with only "128 MB" of RAM, as you suggested above, then your rip times and your burn times should be much longer.

Right click on "MY COMPUTER." Select the very bottom choice, "PROPERTIES." Read what it says down toward the bottom, where it indicates the processors speed, and also the amount of RAM you have installed. Please post this. I suspect your issue is something very different, now.

I must be missing something here. It takes me longer than OBD and I have 4 times the memory! My processor is either 1.5 or 1.7 - can't remember right off.
