I was wondering are they any sites out that provide patches and rebuild downloads and maybe instructions? Im new to the burning thing and i dont know what games need patches, where can you find em, what is rebuilding, And what games need it if anyone can hlp me with that that'll be kool

here you go man...this link will give you a tutorial on how to rebuild ps2 games...you will either need swap magic discs or a modchip to play backed up ps2 games...good luck ;)

you mean you didnt have a mod?well i guess that would be your major problem.

thats swap magic 3.6 plus your getting right?if so,you wont need patches for that.but you still need to rebuild some games with it.and did you get the slide card or fliptop with it?

Naw not swap magic its called magic v plus its a mod chip with wires its on its way i just need a little knowledge before it comes

well,modchips dont need patches or rebuilding for the most part.that kinda stuff is usually used by people who use swap magic disc.

there still is double layer games that might give you trouble.there are a handful of them(god of war,gran turismo 4).but for the most part it shouldnt be that hard with a modchip.

I got a double layer dvd burner and the chip says it reads double layer dvds so if thats the problem ill just try and get a blank dvd-dl. I'm still looking for a steady how to burn ps2 game guide seen so many ways, I'v downloaded a few games i had messed up and have sitting there but the chip has'nt came in for me to use or try em there on data disc right now to save hd space

you know dl dvdrs run about $10(whatever that translates to in other currency?) a disc.so messing up with dl media isnt good.in otherwords pray you dont have a bad burn with dl media.

i think those kind of patches are for online play.and that would be the only time you would need to patch a game.i dont play online so that doesnt affect me.

hmm i have a new question kinna off topic but i just downloaded a game i wanted to know it had alot of files now to get the main iso you extract the 1st file ? i heard you decompress it is that the same thing as extracting ?, and do you just do that or do you do anything after the extract or decompressing ? thanks str8 from the heart

yeah just extract/decompress the first rar(the one with the bundle of books) file and you should get an iso..then use dvd decrypter to write the iso..good luck ;)
